With four albums already under his belt, the Malian singer, known in Mali as in Côte d'Ivoire who learned his trade from Fantani Toure, offers traditional singing in Bambara (Mali dialect). With a beautiful voice, Djénéba reveals himself to us like a true diva.

Having cut his teeth with Fantani Toure; tour in Mali, the Netherlands; Djénèba created his group, his first international took place in France, specifically in Angers Toucouleurs Night Festival from 1 to 6 November 2000. In return, the show will Djenne opening of the fifth edition of the Festival Theatre Realities in Bamako.
Scheduled several times in the French Cultural Center in Bamako, Djenne has toured Mali. Thus the audience could appreciate in Sikasso, Mopti, Douentza, Zégoua ....
On September 29, 2004 in Festival Faces Francophones de Cahors, Cahors to the public enjoyed the talents of Djenne and its affiliates. On December 18, 2004 is the turn of the public to find Bamako Djenne and his group in the 7th edition of the Festival Theatre of Reality.
After a tour through the southern Mali in 2007; Djénèba Diakite came into the studio for his third album, a headline "San folic sene" is offered.
